John Durkos has 38 years’ experience in providing technical support and product promotion in the highway and roadside safety industry, specifically with barriers, end terminals, and crash cushions. For the past 22 years, Mr. Durkos has been Vice President, Technical Support for Road Systems, Inc., which is based in Big Spring, TX but working from offices in the Cleveland, Ohio area. He has served on several NCHRP Panels including the rewrite of NCHRP 350, which was published as MASH. Mr. Durkos has been an active member of ATSSA, TRB Committee AFB20 (Committee on Roadside Safety Design), and Task Force 13 for over 30 years. He has served as the Task Force 13 Chair since 2003.
